"The question is not what you look at, but what you see"
Some artists travel to find unique places, I try to find beauty in the objects or places around me. I believe that anything can be interesting or beautiful, it's all in the way you look at things. For instance, this is a gallery made with the help of a rusty old pot. I looked past the obvious, the rusty pot, and brought the viewers attention to the unique patterns and colours of the rust. The addition of the moving water and/or cooking oil contained on the inside of the pot creates interesting subject matter other than a rusty pot. Through my work, I want to encourage others to challenge their creativity and look beyond the physical object and imagine what it could become.
